Taking the virginity of Virgin Pina Colada

I wasn't sure if my first blog entry should be about myself. If I should rant about myself first, about who I am and all that. Then I just decided that I should get right on it.

So my last week has been bit slow (not that it would be wildly fast on normal days) since I have been suffering of somekind of infection and been on a sick leave. Really does good to your need to rant when you spend so much time inside 4 walls. During these days I have trying to comfort myself with things I like. Like cookies and pina coladas. Of course my medication doesn't allow me drinking alcohol while taking the meds, so I needed to make virgin pina coladas, hence the name for the blog too. I consider my life being pretty average, though I have never had a submission accepted in mylifeisaverage.com, so non-alcoholic drinks suffice just fine.

I've been pretty out of it to play, so I'll tell you all about my struggling career as a gamer later.

Sick days are usually good for watching movies and I've seen quite bunch of them. Hmm. Let's see, Män Som Hatar Kvinnor (Men who hate women), Flickan som lekte med elden (Girl who played with fire), Mothman Prophecies, Batman - Dark Knight, Slumdog Millionaire, Marley & Me (oh, the waterworks!), Dukes of Hazzard, The Devil Wears Prada, Kama Sutra, Interview with the Vampire... Now that I have a new TV with my home theater system, I can get really scared watching scary movies. I hate them, yet I watch them.

I really loved Marley & Me. I've never had a dog myself but I remember the dog my grandparets used to have. So you really don't have to be a dog lover to relate to this. Couldn't help but reach for my tissue box at the end. I don't really like Owen Wilson, but for once I wasn't bothered by him cause the dog was just so cute. I think I wanna watch it again and cry from start to finish when I know what's to come.

I have a lot of time on my hands today, since getting up and doing things gets me dizzy, I think I'll watch something from my huge library of recorded movies or tune in to my movie channel. We'll see if I see something I like.

I'll let you know.
